Iqra Press registered

What a mammoth task—fighting against time to meet the 4pm deadline to register two new companies. I managed one: Iqra Press Ltd. The other—Ihsan Ilmi Limited—will be processed on Monday.

But this one was especially important—Iqra Press Ltd—as I need to purchase barcodes and complete other requirements over the weekend, so that I can partner with an eBook store in Indonesia. I have been in dialogue with a young brother who is truly impressive. He runs multiple eBook stores and markets books in a completely different way. It is amazing how he engages with readers and authors alike. Remember eBooks are entreprenuerial business these days.

On top of that, he has designed a new kind of eBook reader, similar to the Amazon Kindle. I will never publish with Amazon—and neither should you. After the Adelaide Book Festival, I hope people have realised that many book publishers in the West are directly connected to Zionist interests. We need to break away from them. Iqra Press is the first step.

One of my manuscripts is ready and will be the first eBook to be published under Iqra Press, with the help of this brother in Indonesia.

Soon, Iqra Press will be registered as a waqf (charitable trust) and, by Allah’s permission, will become the first waqf-based eBook store—so watch this space. It will push technology to the leading edge, with the aim of becoming the best waqf eBook platform in the world.

Brilliant minds are already working tirelessly in many corners of the globe, and in shā’ Allāh, all of us will serve as its mutawallīs (trustees)—guardians of knowledge, integrity, and purpose.
