Top 10 Strongest Islamic Economies in the World 2025
According to the latest DinarStandard ranking, Malaysia tops the list of the world’s strongest Islamic economies in 2025 with a score of 165.1—well ahead of the rest. Saudi Arabia comes second (100.9), followed by Indonesia (99.9), underlining Southeast Asia’s growing influence. The UAE (95.8) and Bahrain (81.9) round out the top five.
The presence of Malaysia and Indonesia in the top three reflects Southeast Asia’s critical role in Islamic finance, halal industries, and digital innovation. Kuala Lumpur remains a global hub for Islamic banking, while Jakarta is rapidly advancing in halal food, fashion, and fintech—showing how cultural values can drive global competitiveness.
Also featured in the top 10 are Jordan, Kuwait, Pakistan, Turkey, and Qatar, each contributing uniquely to the Islamic economy. Yet, the rise of Malaysia and Indonesia firmly establishes Southeast Asia as a powerhouse shaping the future of global Islamic growth.
